Here are some suggestions of how you can make a difference and inspire others.
Speaker Series - Get a group of friends together and invite us to join you. We have speakers who can talk about their experiences in Rwanda or other parts of Africa and what happens to the money donated to Inspire!Africa. Speakers will have pictures and lots of stories to share and will be happy to accept your donations.
Gift Cards - Are you looking for a meaningful gift for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, Christmas or other occasions. INSPIRE!africa has beautifully designed gift cards available for any dollar amount.
Volunteer - INSPIRE!africa is looking for people interested in the following work experience:
- Teachers - Volunteer teachers are needed in the area of English, science, math, computers. Accommodation will be available. For more information on current volunteer opportunities in Rwanda please contact us.
- Psychotherapists - Volunteer psychotherapists are also required to support projects in Kigali which work with widows and orphans of the genocide. Volunteers interested in such opportunities are invited to contact Deborah Davies in Kigali.
Donations - Our registered charity application has been submitted and charitable status is pending from Revenue Canada. We can however accept your donation, put it to work right away and send you a tax deductible receipt later. Tax receipts will be issued for donations over $20.
Cheques should be made payable to Inspire!Africa and sent to the address below.
On-line donations will be available in the near future.
To minimize administrative costs, in-kind donations for printing or office materials are always appreciated.
