INSPIRE!africa 3rd Annual Gala Fundraiser

Please join us on Thursday November 19, 2009 for INSPIRE!africa's Third Annual Gala Fundraiser at Webster Galleries, 812- 11 Avenue SW, Calgary from 4:30 to 7:00.

You will be treated to an enjoyable evening of African song, dance and food. Please see our event poster.

Our guest speaker this year is Denyse Umutoni. Denyse is a survivor of the Rwanda genocide and lost most of her family at that time. That inspired her to promote human rights and peace rather than seeking revenge. Since 2001, she has been involved in various human rights organizations in Rwanda and came to Canada 3 years ago with her daughter. Denyse has a bachelor’s degree in Education, speaks 6 languages and is employed in Calgary as a family support worker.

The fundraiser is an after-work cocktail reception with hors-d'oeurves, a cash bar, entertainment and a silent auction. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased by contacting us at info@InspireAfrica.org. Donations to INSPIRE!africa will be requested at the event. Cash and cheques are preferred.
